About Me

After starting my career as a Barrister in the UK, I crossed the channel and became a Member of the European Commission Legal Service. I’ve spent the past 12 years advising and litigating across the regulatory spectrum from competition law, to external relations and trade.

I'm Adjunct Professor at the Brussels School of Governance, VUB, teaching the law of international organisations. I am also an Assistant Editor of the Thompson Reuters Encyclopedia of Environmental Law (International environmental law) and I deliver seminars on different aspects of EU law with a particular focus on sustainability, climate change, and their interface with trade and international law.

Nothing on this site represents legal advice, and I do not accept liability for any consequences that may arise if you take action (or do not take action) upon anything you read here. Where I am the author of material on this site, I assert copyright therein.  You are very welcome to reproduce material that appears on this site, but on condition that you acknowledge its source.
